About Us
We believe everyone has a ministry inside and outside of the church as they live their faith. At Dane Street, we are dedicated to becoming disciples of Jesus Christ.
Worship is the center from which everything we are and do flows. At Dane Street, we are dedicated to preaching what is relevant and based on scripture. We have a blended music style in worship, drawing from traditional and modern elements. Our purpose in worship is to experience the presence of God through the power of the Holy Spirit, and having experienced that presence to go into the world to share it.
We are composed of all ages. We have children, parents, young adults, college students, seminary students, grandparents, widows and widowers. Children are always welcome and they are encouraged to participate in all aspects of worship. There is a special children’s story time dedicated to them each Sunday and younger children (second grade and under) have Children’s Church that they can attend after the children’s story time is done and it lasts until the end of the service.
We celebrate Holy Communion during service on the first Sunday of every month. We welcome all who profess Christ as Lord and Savior to our Communion service even if they are not members of our church.
