Stephen Ministry
What is Stephen Ministry?
Trained lay caregivers (called Stephen Ministers) provide confidential one-to-one Christian care to the bereaved, hospitalized, terminally ill, separated, divorced, unemployed, relocated, and others facing a crisis or life challenge.
Stephen Ministry at Dane Street started in May 2002 when a group of members from the congregation traveled to St. Louis to organize our first Stephen Ministry program. We now have over seven Stephen Ministers offering care to those in need.
Once a year, training is offered by our leaders Barbara and Bill Cook. If you are interested in ministering through the Stephen Ministry program or would like help from a Stephen Minister, please feel free to contact the church office.
